Erindi Private Game Reserve, Namibia (June, 2019)

After cheetahs came wild dogs. Ten tiny puppies all day, every day. Watching them grow up was a privilege. Every day we would be at their den before sunrise and would leave after sunset. At first they were shy and the adults were protective, but over time they began to trust us. So much so that by the end of our time with them they would come over and lie next to us while the adults went off to hunt. Not that that happened in June - they were still only a couple of months old.
