Erindi Private Game Reserve, Namibia (September, 2018)

My second dry season. Leopard cubs. Wild dog pups. Cheetah cubs. And the sightings we had were very special. It was also my first time spending hours on foot in the bush. There’s something about being down on the ground that brings you closer—connects you with the animals. I love it. After all, it’s to think of anything that’s made me feel more alive than watching Savanna take down and choke out a springbok ram just five metres away from where we were standing.
