GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, ARIZONA
The Grand Canyon was the first destination on the nine day itinerary as my parents and I drove around northern Arizona and southern Utah. It was my spring break. The enormity of the canyon was what hit me first. But after a while, I started to feel that it was this vastness that made it seem not so spectacular. It was almost too much to comprehend. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing sight, but I think next time I go I want to be down in the canyon, on the river. There is something about looking down so much that makes you want to look up.
