Manhattan, NEW YORK

Between twelve hour days on Wall Street, making a photography book, working out and booking my next five weeks of travel, I rarely found time to shoot in New York. And, since I like to shoot at sunrise a lot more than I like sunset, that meant some very early mornings on the weekend. There were a couple of Saturday nights where I would come home from a night out, pick up my camera and go straight out again to shoot. One weekend I even managed to force my roommate to join me. Cityscapes were somewhat new to me and I will always prefer shooting nature, but New York did provide a novel backdrop for me to experiment with.
