Nagarhole National Park, India

I remember when I was about seven or eight, taking photos of photos of baby cheetah and leopard in this little book I’d been given for Christmas that was filled with wild animals. One morning at the lodge in India while going through some of my own photos from the trip, a little boy staying in one of the rooms asked me if he could do just that - take some photos of my photos. It made me proud and it made me wonder. Was I always destined to do this? Will he be where I am in fifteen years? Where will I be in fifteen years? Who knows. My time in the forest was unforgiving - we went a week without seeing any cats. But I’ll be back.
