ZION NATIONAL PARK, UTAH

A lot of my friends tout Zion as their favourite U.S. National Park. It was definitely special for me too, but I wouldn't say it is my favourite. The red road and red rocks are certainly unique, but there isn't the diversity of landscape that I have seen in other parks. I think perhaps the weather also put a damper on my experience: it rained every day. The highlight of the visit for me was the hike to Angel's Landing: one of the most dangerous single day hikes in the world. I definitely want to go back, but only if the weather is better.
